“Creating art provides me with the unique opportunity to harness stillness in a world that often feels so fast paced. I strive to ensure my work captures these moments of calm and clarity.”
Working from her studio space in Melbourne, Sarah Blatchford explores parallels found between nature and the changing seasons of life. Working primarily in oil on linen, her practice focuses on feminine, realistic floral still-life compositions.
Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Monash University (2007) and is continually expanding and refining her knowledge of art through her practice. She presented her debut solo exhibition Veins of Light, Roots of Loss (2025), and has participated in group exhibitions at Brunswick Street Gallery and the Affordable Art Fair, Melbourne.
